Ohio State football fighting Georgia roadblock for top prospects: Buckeyes Recruiting Roundup


CLEVELAND, Ohio — While Michigan has been making some notable strides within recruiting the 2024 class, Georgia has seemed to emerge as Ohio State’s primary roadblock in securing some of the top players in the nation. At least seven 2024 players with offers on the table to become a Buckeye have made their intentions to join the Bulldogs clear thus far. While the Buckeyes have secured commitments from players who received notable interest from Georgia, including the five-star WRs Jeremiah Smith and Mylan Graham, Georgia is already looking to outpace every other school recruiting-wise heading into the 2024 season. Both On3 and 247Sports rank Georgia’s current list of commits as the No. 1 class for 2024, with Ohio State pulling in at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
