© Provided by Athlon Sports The Ohio State Buckeyes today reportedly pulled the trigger on a big move ahead of the coming season. According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the program will bring former NFL coach Joe Philbin aboard as an offensive analyst. While Philbin served as the Miami Dolphins’ head coach through 3-plus seasons, and briefly filled in as the Green Bay Packers’ interim head coach, most of his experience has come in assistant positions. Philbin has a Super Bowl ring to show for his time in Green Bay, and most recently worked with the Dallas Cowboys as an offensive line coach. When Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy made the decision to cut ties with Philbin, he made it clear the choice was made on amicable terms.
