© Provided by Buckeyes Now on FanNation Ohio State Buckeyes catcher Matthew Graveline and shortstop Henry Kaczmar earned spots on the Big Ten’s All-Freshman team on Tuesday following impressive debut seasons. Graveline started in all but one of the 50 games in which he appeared and scored the most runs on the team with 45. The Centerville, Ohio native also tallied 56 hits and 12 stolen bases, both of which were second-most among the Buckeyes, along with a .287 batting average. As an infielder, Graveline recorded a third-best 234 putouts with only four errors. Kaczmar hit .293 over 55 games and led the Scarlet and Gray with 61 hits and 208 plate appearances. The Walsh Jesuit graduate’s 55 starts were the most of any of his teammates, including Ohio State’s 20 upperclassmen.
