Two Ohio State football post-spring questions: How will Buckeyes affect, protect QBs?


Last week, I offered thoughts on every Ohio State offensive and defensive player. I have a few leftover roster notes, so let’s expand on those today in two especially important areas that could dictate just how far the Buckeyes go in 2023: rushing the passer and protecting the passer. Edge rushers showing potential I initially planned on discussing my thoughts on Ohio State’s defensive line depth here, but instead, I started to think more specifically about the edge rushers. The Buckeyes will rely on 2021 five-star prospects J.T. Tuimoloau and Jack Sawyer as starters, with 2022 top-130 prospects Caden Curry and Kenyatta Jackson in the mix as well.
