Ex Buckeye Maurice Clarett's Ohio State Legacy Continues With Daughter's Commitment

Controversy is a word that Ohio State Buckeyes fans might synonymize with former running back Maurice Clarett.  © Provided by Buckeyes Now on FanNation His name headlined the media in the wrong ways following his dismissal from the program, but while his Buckeye legacy was cut short, he did play a pivotal role for his team during the 2002 season.  As a freshman, Clarett earned the Big Ten’s Freshman of the Year distinction and racked up over 1,300 all-purpose yards on 222 carries. He tallied 18 total touchdowns in the process, which was enough to place him in the top 10 for all running backs that season.  Now, years later, his daughter is set to be a Buckeye herself, continuing on the Clarett legacy at Ohio State.  Clarrett’s daughter, Jayden, attended Columbus School for Girls, and is set to graduate early — an accomplishment she’s been after for most of her life.…
