Ohio State football’s position coach with the biggest challenge: Ten Crucial Buckeyes


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football offensive line coach Justin Frye did not create the problem, but he did accept the challenge of fixing it. The Buckeyes stockpiled weapons at receiver and in the backfield and have two highly regarded quarterbacks battling to lead them. Everyone saw this coming three years ago. They also recognized looming questions for the offensive line which remained unanswered at the end of the spring. Unanswered does not mean unaddressed, though. Ryan Day brought Frye in from UCLA to both solve the long-term recruiting letdowns and coach up the internal candidates.
