COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s C.J. Stroud faced Alabama’s Bryce Young as young quarterback prospects in California and in the Heisman Trophy balloting, but never in a college game. Those longtime friends and rivals could meet halfway through their rookie seasons. The Houston Texans, who selected Stroud No. 2 in April’s NFL Draft, are scheduled to play at the Carolina Panthers and No. 1 pick Young on Oct. 29. The NFL released its complete 2023 schedule on Thursday, revealing several intriguing matchups for Stroud and other recent Buckeye draft picks.
