Ohio State adds Marshall to 2024 football schedule as replacement for Washington

Ohio State has added three home games to its non-conference schedule, starting with a game against Marshall in 2024. The Buckeyes will play the Thundering Herd on Sept. 21 next year. It will be Ohio State’s third game against Marshall. The Buckeyes prevailed 24-21 in 2004 and won 45-7 in 2010. Ohio State will pay Marshall $1.6 million to play. Ohio State has played Marshall twice before, most recently in 2010 when the Buckeyes won 45-7.
