The Buckeyes picked up a commitment in the transfer portal from Ole Miss Rebels defensive tackle Tywone Malone on Tyesday, who ranks as a top-45 defensive line and is a three-star transfer prospect, according to 247Sports. Malone will have immediate eligibility upon his arrival in Columbus. Malone was also a power-hitting first baseman for Ole Miss’ baseball team during his time in Oxford, MS., mashing three home runs in 19 career at-bats as part of the Rebels’ 2022 national championship team.
