The defensive tackle also played for the Rebels’ championship-winning baseball team, hitting two home runs in nine at-bats in 2022. Malone was recruited by defensive line coach Larry Johnson and received an offer, but picked the Rebels as the 63rd-best player in the class of 2021, the No. 11 defensive lineman and the top player in New Jersey.
