Top-100 safety Ohio State football hopes to flip from Georgia sets official visit date

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Peyton Woodyard apparently came away intrigued by a mid-April visit to Ohio State football. © David Petkiewicz/cleveland.com/TNS Peyton Woodyard, 2024 safety The top-100 safety in the 2024 class, who has been committed to Georgia since January, announced Thursday he will make an official visit to Ohio State on June 16. Woodyard plays at St. John Bosco in Bellflower, California. Ohio State has pulled important talent from that program in recent years, including All-American Wyatt Davis and captain Kourt Williams III. It offered Woodyard back in June 2021.
