COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State came into April understanding what its goals were for the running back room and now it closes out the month able to check the position off its to-do list. Four-star James Peoples got things started on April 2 when he picked the Buckeyes fresh off his unofficial visit as the first top-100 recruit at the position since 2021. Sam Williams-Dixon came along 12 days later as a four-star athlete that may end up in the running back room as well, but could also end up at wide receiver or playing defensive back.
