CLEVELAND, Ohio — Exhausted from a full day of school and track practice, Avon Lake’s Maxwell Riley thought he would be living the fun, care-free life of a typical high school freshman looking forward to summer coming up. Instead, the already decorated athlete is taking calls from major college programs across the country as one of the biggest — literally — recruits in the 2026 class.
