COLUMBUS, Ohio — Tanner Holden is entering the transfer portal after just one season with the Ohio State basketball program. Holden arrived last summer as Wright State’s leading scorer looking to move up a level in competition. It’s a road the Buckeyes have gone down before bringing in Jimmy Sotos from Bucknell in 2020. Just as Sotos never truly carved out a role in Columbus, Holden struggled to find consistent minutes especially once Big Ten play began.
