CLEVELAND, Ohio – College football’s biggest rivalry has a busy weekend ahead when the NFL Draft begins Thursday night. Since 2019, Ohio State and Michigan have combined to produce 64 draft picks, (35 for OSU, 28 for Michigan). Fourteen of those have been first-rounders (eight for the Buckeyes). And according to Spotrac data, OSU and UM both rank top 10 among college programs that have produced the most active NFL players. The Buckeyes rank second with 60 (10 behind Alabama), while the Wolverines rank sixth with 44. Those numbers don’t matter in November, but they can help recruit the players who do.
