Chaminade-Madonna defensive back Zaquan Patterson announced his top programs on Sunday, it was no surprise to see Ohio State on the list. The Buckeyes not only have been steady in courting the safety projection out of the national power program, but it has multiple former teammates on the current roster and one current teammate in Jeremiah Smith committed in the 2024 class. Shortly after Patterson made the post, Smith and more recent commitment Payton Pierce, among others, nudged the rising-senior OSU’s way. Miami, Michigan, Florida State and Auburn round out the top schools for the blue-chip recruit.
