West Virginia has added Ohio State to its non-conference schedule for the 2023-24 season, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports. The Mountaineers and Buckeyes will meet in Cleveland at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on December 30th. Ohio State leads the all-time series, 8-9. However, the Mountaineers have won eight of the last nine meetings, including the last three. The two schools last played on December 29th, 2019 in Cleveland with West Virginia coming out on top, 67-59. Miles “Deuce” McBride led WVU with 21 points on 6/12 shooting, including 3/4 from three-point range. Other non-conference games already on the docket for WVU are Toledo, Radford, and St. John’s.
