The 2023-24 Ohio State men’s basketball schedule officially has a new game. On the penultimate day of the year, the Buckeyes will head to Cleveland to play West Virginia. The neutral-court game will take place Dec. 30 at an as-yet unknown venue that will most likely be Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, home of the NBA’s Cavaliers. The upcoming season It’s the first standalone game to be put on the calendar for the upcoming season. Ohio State will play in the CBS Sports Classic that is likely to take place Dec. 23 at an as-yet unknown location. North Carolina, Kentucky and UCLA also participate in the annual event, which is scheduled through 2026.
