Bonner was a solid contributor over the last two years for the Bears, but nothing spectacular. He averaged 4.7 points per game with 2.7 assists and 1.4 steals last season. This development puts an interesting note on the Buckeyes’ pursuit of Bronny James — if there is even mutual interest — as they now may not have an open scholarship to give him.
