That all ended during the third quarter as presumed starting quarterback Kyle McCord found Tate on a pretty throw into the end zone for the first score through the air. It was a great finish for Tate’s first spring, one that could very well vaunt him into a solid role during the actual season. The 6-foot, 2-inch and 180 pound receiver was rated as the 9th best at his position and 59th overall according to the 247Sports composite.
