2023 NFL Draft position preview: Ohio State's Paris Johnson leads class; Jags may have to wait

Ohio State offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr., is credited by most draft services as being the most pro-ready at his position. The offensive tackle class might not be very deep this year but the quality at the top is such that as many as three could go among the top 10, and a half dozen in the first round. With the emphasis on finding a franchise quarterback, the next step for NFL teams is to find his bodyguards. The Jaguars, who need some depth, likely will have to wait until the third day and are prioritizing guard ahead of tackle. The Big Ten is leading the way for tackle prospects. The two best, in a consensus from draft services and mocks, are Paris Johnson Jr., of Ohio State and Peter Skoronski of Northwestern.
