They met with reporters at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on March 7, 2023. Or, as Brown called it a Twitter post, a “minor speed bump.” The second-year quarterback will not play in Saturday’s scrimmage after undergoing what coach Ryan Day called a medical procedure to a finger on his throwing hand. Brown played the entirety of last Friday’s practice, which reporters were allowed to watch. The only other practice between then and Wednesday morning happened on Monday.
