Buckeyes coach Ryan Day revealed that second-year quarterback Devin Brown underwent a procedure Wednesday and cannot throw in Saturday’s exhibition. The other quarterbacks will play, with Kyle McCord and Tristan Gebbia handling the majority of the reps with the first and second string. Day said he would not compare Brown’s injury to the one that influenced the 2018 quarterback competition between Joe Burrow and Dwayne Haskins.
