The class of 2024 has all of a sudden ballooned to 10 members on board with the Tuesday evening decision of national top 100 linebacker Payton Pierce of Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy High School, who picked the Buckeyes over 40 reported scholarship offers. The latest recruiting win for Ryan Day’s program drew plenty of reaction across social media not only because of Pierce’s prowess as a ‘backer and state champion wrestler, but because it’s already the fifth new OSU commitment in the month of April.
