Former Ohio State CB Jeff Okudah Traded To Atlanta Falcons

Former Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah will have a new home in 2023.  According to reports, the Detroit Lions are trading the former Buckeyes’ star defender to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round pick. The Falcons were expected to target one of the top cornerbacks in this year’s draft with the No. 8 overall selection.  Drafted with the third overall pick in 2020, Okudah’s time in the Motor City was met with mixed reviews. After earning the starting job out of training camp, the 6-1 corner suffered a hamstring injury that sidelined him for the start of the regular season.
