The Ohio State softball team has had a good season so far but has been on the short end of some tight games in the Big Ten as of late. What looked like a promising season, has taken a slight turn into some adversity. But this weekend was a successful one in which close games went OSU’s way for once, the latest a walk-off that resulted in the Buckeyes taking two out of three from a Rutgers team that’s started the conference season as one of the best in the league. Things were scoreless for the first two innings before the Scarlet Knights struck first with two runs in the top of the third inning on a two-run homer put Ohio State down 2-0.
