Division I men No. 5 Maryland 12, No. 17 Ohio State 11, OT: Braden Erksa scored the game-winner 52 seconds into overtime to lift the visiting Terps (7-3, 2-1 Big Ten) over the Buckeyes (5-6, 1-2) on Friday night. Maryland trailed by as many as five goals in the first half. Daniel Kelly (Calvert Hall) scored the tying goal with 2:10 left in regulation to force overtime for the Terps. Luke Wierman won 19 of 26 faceoffs, including all six in the third quarter, and moved into second place in program history in faceoff wins. Brian Ruppel (Catonsville) finished with nine saves.
