Ohio State athletics has found its fair share of success this past year. At the end of the winter sports season, the Buckeyes find themselves at the top of the LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup standings, which tracks the success of athletic department based on the performance of each individual sport. Ohio State is in first place, nearly 100 points ahead of second-place Texas after the women’s hockey team finished its season in the Frozen Four championship, the wrestling team finished in fourth at the NCAA Championships and top-10 finishes from fencing, women’s basketball and women’s swim and dive.
