What Jamison Battle’s transfer means to Ohio State basketball

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball is once again going into the transfer portal to fill out its roster, this time taking away from another Big Ten team in the process. Jamison Battle entered the portal after spending the past two seasons at Minnesota, averaging 15.1 points in 56 games. That included three games against the Buckeyes where he averaged 12.3 points. He began his career at George Washington in 2019, averaging 13.5 points in 47 games. Recommended Buckeyes stories The fifth-year senior comes to an OSU team that could potentially lose its top two scorers for the second straight season thanks to Justice Sueing’s graduation and Brice Sensabaugh declaring for the NBA Draft.
