True freshman wide receiver Carnell Tate turned heads on Saturday during Ohio State’s student appreciation practice, even getting most of his reps with presumptive starting quarterback Kyle McCord and the Buckeyes first-team offense. “Early enrollee freshman wide receiver Carnell Tate stood out during Ohio State’s Student Appreciation Day practice, taking first-team reps and making several impressive catches along the sideline in 11-on-11s and 7-on-7s,” Joey Kaufman of The Columbus Dispatch reported.
