After three seasons at Ohio State, Gene Brown III will finish his collegiate career elsewhere. Brown announced Thursday on Twitter he’s entering the transfer portal. “I want to thank the entire coaching staff, strength coaches, trainers, doctors, media, professors and fans who have supported me during my three years here,” Brown wrote on Twitter. “The lessons, experiences and bonds I have created while here will forever be a chapter in my life journey that has made me who I am today. So again, I thank you!” In three seasons with the Buckeyes, Brown has averaged 2.2 points and 1.7 rebounds while shooting 43.8% from the floor and 27.6% from 3.
