Jacy Sheldon has unfinished business at Ohio State. After four seasons with the Buckeyes, Sheldon announced Wednesday she would be back for a fifth season in 2023-24. “I love being a Buckeye and I can’t wait to run it back with my teammates,” Sheldon wrote in a tweet. “See you next year Buckeye Nation.” Sheldon was limited to 13 games during the Buckeyes’ 2022-23 season with a foot injury. She returned for the Big Ten tournament, playing limited minutes in wins against Michigan and Indiana and Ohio State’s tournament final loss to Iowa. By the start of the NCAA Tournament, Sheldon was a full go, averaging 17.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and five assists per game, shooting 40% from the field.
