On Tuesday, former Ole Miss Rebels cornerback Davison Igbinsoun, who entered the NCAA Transfer Portal after just one year in Oxford, committed to Ohio State, giving the Buckeyes a talented secondary piece for the future. Igbinosun now becomes the fourth incoming Ohio State transfer alongside offensive tackle Victor Cutler, quarterback Tristan Gebbia, and safety Ja’Had Carter. He will have three years of eligibility remaining and will have a chance to start immediately. Igbinosun entered the portal shortly after a shake-up on the Ole Miss coaching staff, in which the Rebels parted ways with defensive coordinator Chris Partridge, and hired Alabama’s, Pete Golding.
