Field Level Media Transfer quarterback Tristan Gebbia is headed to Ohio State, Rivals.com reported Tuesday. Gebbia last played at Oregon State, and it was reported when he entered the transfer portal earlier this month that he’d be seeking a medical redshirt to give him eligibility for a seventh college season. The news comes just one day after Buckeyes quarterback C.J. Stroud said he’s entering the NFL draft. Gebbia gives coach Ryan Day a veteran option for a Buckeyes program that will enter spring workouts with Kyle McCord and Devin Brown as the main competitors for the starting job. The Buckeyes also will have incoming freshman Lincoln Kienholz on scholarship. Gebbia, 24, was a four-star prospect in the Class of 2017, ranked the No. pro-style 9 quarterback by the 247Sports composite in the class.
