Justin Fields again played well for the Bears, and yet again, it didn’t result in a win. Worse yet for the Bears was that Fields suffered a left shoulder injury late in the game. Fields was spotted being carted off the field after the Bears’ 27-24 loss to the Falcons by Adam Jahns of The Athletic. Bears coach Matt Eberflus told reporters including ESPN’s Courtney Cronin after the game that they will have more updates on Fields’ status on Wednesday. Fields had a passing and rushing touchdown in the game, completing 14 of 21 passes for 153 yards and rushing 18 times for a game-high 85 yards.
