STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — C.J. Stroud did what needed to be done in Ohio State football’s 44-31 win over Penn State. The second-year quarterback finished the game with 354 yards and a touchdown on 26 of 33 passing. But it’s what he did in the fourth quarter that help the Buckeyes complete the comeback on a day where plenty was going wrong. “C.J. led it,” head coach Ryan Day said. “I don’t know what C.J.’s numbers were in the fourth quarter, but he was tremendous. To come in and play like that in this environment and go put the offense on your shoulders like that.
