Save for about six sleepy minutes in the third quarter, the AP top-ranked Bulldogs romped past rival Florida. Georgia shrugged off the Gators’ third-quarter uprising and cruised home. Georgia played with heavy hearts Saturday against Florida, a day after the death of legendary Bulldogs coach Vince Dooley. Afterward, head coach Kirby Smart dedicated the victory to Dooley during the postgame interview. The second-ranked Buckeyes faced a tougher test at No. 13 Penn State and found themselves down in the fourth quarter — for about 35 seconds.
