When TV commercials first began airing in Manhattan movie theaters about 20 years ago, New Yorkers booed lustily. They wanted to be entertained, not solicited. Eventually, human nature took over, as it always does, and the verbal protests died a quiet death as movie-goers got worn down by the noisy fluff preceding the feature. In other words, they got soft. Ryan Day does not want a similar surrender happening to the Buckeyes.
