AP Top 25: Where is Ohio State football in the Week 4 college rankings?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s blowout of Toledo had almost no effect on the Buckeyes’ support in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. Ohio State remained No. 3, behind No. 1 Georgia an No. 2 Alabama. The Buckeyes retained their lone No. 1 vote but lost four points in the vote total. Saturday night’s 77-21 victory over Toledo had virtually no effect on OSU’s position. While its vote points dipped from 1,475 to 1,473, that still left a comfortable margin down to No. 4 Michigan (1,364). Clemson remained slightly ahead of Oklahoma at No. 5. Georgia’s emphatic victory South Carolina further solidified its standing. The Bulldogs added six more No. 1 votes to claim 59 of the 63 top votes. Alabama received the other three No. 1 votes.
