Jarrett Patterson remains gametime decision for Notre Dame-Ohio State

If No. 2 Notre Dame is to hang with No. 5 Ohio State tonight the belief is that the Fighting Irish will have to take the air out of the ball to a certain degree and limit possessions because the Buckeyes offense is perhaps the best in the nation and can score in virtually no time.  A key way to be able to keep possession is obviously by having a successful run game and a key injury upfront for Notre Dame has left questions as to who will play this evening. Jarrett Patterson, a potentially All-American interior lineman who switched from center to left guard this year, remains a game-time decision for tonight’s clash in Columbus. Zeke Correll gets the start at center tonight and if Patterson is unable to go, sophomore Rocco Spindler would be expected to make his first career start. We’ll keep you posted throughout the day…
