Kamryn Babb, Ohio State football captain and receiver, suffers injury setback

Ohio State wide receiver Kamryn Babb has suffered an injury setback and will be out for a couple of weeks, a length of time that is expected to sideline him for at least the upcoming season opener against Notre Dame. Coach Ryan Day didn’t delve into the specifics about the injury, but acknowledged the team is being cautious with Babb, who has undergone four anterior cruciate ligament tears over his career. “His situation is very unique because of his background and his history,” Day said, “so we’re just going to trust the doctors and see where that goes.” Babb’s perseverance through injuries has made him an inspirational figure within the program, voted by teammates as a captain for the second consecutive season.
