COLUMBUS, Ohio –Jayden Bonsu will be well-prepared to play in Ohio State football’s new defensive scheme when he arrives next season. The nation’s No. 260 player and No. 22 safety comes from St. Peters Prep in New Jersey, where the Marauders run a similar 4-2-5 system that leans on its talent and depth in the safety room. That starts with Bonsu, whose size and athleticism can allow the coaching staff to put him pretty much anywhere. “He’s an extremely versatile player,” St. Peters head coach Rich Hansen told cleveland.com. “A big, physical kid that has really good hips and recoverability.
