Jack Nicklaus ate dinner with Ryan Day last week and came away impressed by the Ohio State football coach. “First time I had actually met Ryan. What a nice young man,” the 82-year-old Nicklaus said Tuesday during an hour-long media session at Muirfield Village Golf Club, site of the Memorial Tournament that tees off Thursday. “I would call him a young man,” Nicklaus said, smiling, of the 43-year-old coach. “Got his head screwed on great.
