COLUMBUS, Ohio — Since last August, Ohio State has added three transfer players: * Linebacker Chip Trayanum, an Akron native and former running back at Arizona State who arrived for the new semester in January. * Safety Tanner McCallister, a former starter at Oklahoma State who followed new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles here for one extra season and arrived in January. * Kicker Parker Lewis of USC, who should be on the team when fall camp starts. Meanwhile, about 17 players have transferred out of Ohio State, almost all of them backups seeking more playing time elsewhere.
