COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2023 recruiting is still looking for its first five-star recruit, but its 2024 class has kicked off with a pretty significant one. Dylan Raiola of Chandler High School in Arizona is the class’ first commitment as the nation’s No. 8 player and No. 3 quarterback. He chose the Buckeyes over 25 other schools, with USC also emerging as a top option. Ohio State is the 12th school to start its 2024 class and second in the Big Ten alongside Penn State. The class debuts at No. 5 with 29.46 points. A few weeks ago, the Trojans took over the perceived lead in this recruitment. Then he came to Columbus.
