C.J. Stroud’s push for QB1 and 9 more Ohio State players to watch for the 2023 NFL Draft


Ohio State had six players selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, a low number by its standards and the fewest since 2015. However, it still tied for the sixth most by one school this year. Not bad if you’re going to consider that a “down” year. The Buckeyes are still among the premier pro developers in the sport. Ohio State has had 61 players selected since 2016 — an average of almost nine per year and more than the previous 11 drafts combined. And it’s not just quantity. It’s quality. Of those 61, 18 have been first-round picks while 43 have come off the board during the first three rounds.
