Ohio State's men's and women's tennis teams fall to Michigan in Big Ten tournament finals

It wasn’t a good day for Ohio State’s tennis teams in the Big Ten tournament finals Sunday against Michigan. The men’s team fell 4-2 to the Wolverines in Madison, Wisconsin. Michigan swept the Buckeye women’s team 4-0 in Iowa City. Both Buckeye teams were seeded first in the tournament and Michigan second. In the men’s match, No. 4 OSU (24-3) got off to a good start when Andrew Lutschaunig and Justin Boulas followed a victory by Cannon Kingsley and JJ Tracy to win the doubles point. But No. 7 Michigan won four of the five completed singles matches. The Wolverines (22-3) clinched the title when Ondrej Styler rallied to defeat Cannon Kingsley 5-7, 7-6, 6-4 in the No. 1 singles match.
