COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football players completed the first half of the Spring Game, then gathered at the 25-yard line and faced the video board at the south end of Ohio Stadium. They and the thousands of fans in attendance watched in silence during a video tribute to Dwayne Haskins, the former Buckeye quarterback who died one week earlier when hit by a truck on a Florida highway. The video presentation included highlights from Haskins’ OSU career and archival interview footage with the quarterback, his father, Dwayne Sr., and his sister, Tamia. A handful of OSU players were on the roster as true freshman during Haskins’ final season in 2018. He maintained a connection with the program, especially through the quarterbacks. C.J.
