Ohio State football is squarely in the mix for another elite quarterback prospect and is now battling USC for Dylan Raiola, the No. 1 QB in 2024. There are few, if any programs in college football that recruit the quarterback position, as well as the Ohio State football program, does. The Buckeyes were so loaded with talent at the position, that Quinn Ewers, the No. 1 player from the 2022 class, who reclassified, transferred to Texas. Ohio State football rebounded though and signed a top-50 quarterback recruit in Devin Brown in 2022 and just recently hosted five-star QB Dante Moore for a visit in 2023. The Buckeyes’ pursuit of Moore has felt disjointed at times.
