Boilers Fall to No. 7 Ohio State

Story Links      WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue women’s tennis team fell in a 4-0 decision to No. 7 Ohio State on Sunday at the Schwartz Tennis Center. The Boilermakers stood tall against Ohio State in doubles action. All three matches were tied 2-2 in the early goings. The Buckeyes took the opening points with wins of 6-3 and 6-2 at No. 1 and 2, respectively. Tara Katarina Milic and Carmen Gallardo Guevara held a 6-5 lead against Shelly Berenyak and Kolie Allen at No. 3 when play was halted. Ohio State clinched the match with straight set wins at No. 2, 5 and 6. The Boilermakers battled hard in the three unfinished contests.
